As my eyes stayed glued to the television at 3am in the morning last saturday, listening loyally to the CNA newscaster, my brain refused the impulses sent from my cochlea.

For a moment, I thought I was watching Ripley's believe it or not :
The opposition took control of 5 states in Malaysia including Selangor (where I grew up), unbelievable? believe it!

So the formidable *ehem, deleted because someone said that bloggers are being watched* lost it's 2 third majority. I say, it could be worse, they were almost not the majority if you exclude the seats from Sabah and Sarawak. And when I say almost, i meant ALMOST in caps. Go check the results and do your own calculations. It's as though there's a tsunami that started in Selangor/KL and spreaded upwards to Perak, Kedah, Penang and Kelantan that was hit badly. The spreading was minor towards the South and those in Sabah and Sarawak barely felt any tremours.......

And oh God, God bless Malaysia......
