human to human relationships are complex......sometimes, i just don't understand.....for instance, when 2 ppl are placed in the same boat in the middle of the ocean for a period of time, instinctively, the 2 will work together to reach the shore.....and in that process, bonding occurs and for one moment they are everything they have and they become the best of friends.....but once they reach the shore, they go home and lead their own "normal" lives, they are no longer everything they have.....they may keep in touch with each other or they may not, but even if they do, they don't talk like they used to.....it's just sad, very unfortunate indeed.....i stand on a cliff precariously, some stood by me before, but they left without a trace, some even tried to push me down, but i hang on miraculously.....i still refuse to believe that there isn't someone out there that would stand with me forever, but i'm beginning to believe that i can stand on my own, untill i fall, of course.....

i've always wondered, what defines beauty? ok, ok, i admit, i don't "wonder", i've always thought (and still think) that a flawless physical appearance defines beauty.....well, that explains much about my vanity, i am probably the vainest chap u'll ever meet......

then again, have u ever had a situation where a person becomes beautiful (or more beautiful) over time......one of my friends once said that this guy has the look that grows on you, he is just a normal next door guy, but over time, he became, what? prince charming? i have to admit that there's some truth to it......a person may not seem as beautiful physically as his/her personality (or heart as they say)......but a person's personality, if, and only if, given time to be expressed, would change even his/her physical appearance drastically......a person, becomes beautiful..... by being kind and considerate, choosing to pardon rather than seek revenge could probably make a person physically beautiful? i'm not sure.....

what is beauty to you?

holidays are sweet.....holidays should be text book-free.....i strongly believe in "work hard, play hard" and thus, this holiday i did something which was so "not me"- i didn't study......and i quote simon cowell "the surprise of the century"......

so, do not judge a book by its cover.....the nerd u thought would never step foot on the dance floor past midnight might be well hooking up someone there this holiday.....the geek u thought the most bizzare act he/she ever did was killing an ant might be well on an adventure trip to chow kit/geylang/changi, whichever is worse.....

the thing is ppl tend to stereotype ppl when they see someone, it's totally normal.....at least, i do (opps!)

and the next time someone asks me whether i've finished reading "the cell" by alberts this holiday, this would be my answer:

we've broken up since may and may divorce for good cause apparently, i don't need her in year 3 life science.....

the next hot girl to go for: immunobiology by charles janeway......but for the time being, i am enjoying bachelorhood, i just have to admit, that it's pure freedom to not be attached.....

*scribble, scribble, scribble**curse**scribble*curse**read**curse, curse, curse*

In case you’re wondering, the above could be heard everywhere…..it’s the time of the year, yes, your taxes, you need to pay them, and you are late!

So that explains the *scribble*, rushing to finish up the form, finding every possible explanation to minimize the figure, book receipt la, mother’s medical cert la, children’s education la and so on…..then what’s with the *curse*?

Cursing because one’s late, the deadline was like a few days ago? Then what’s with the *read*?

It’s reading the newspaper. And if the current state of our lovely(not) country (I guess all of us are wondering, where did all our hard earned money go to after being extorted (opps!) by the government, who, has guaranteed and sweared to make the life of millions better?) isn’t sufficient to make us curse the party controlling the extortion, then I’m sure this piece of info I got from the newspaper would:

FACT: the installation of our almighty king required a whooping 15million

Now that explains the *curse, curse, curse*

But in the end we still pay our taxes…..
